About: Hi! My name is Shannon and I am a work from home Mom of 4 sons; 5, 10, 14 and 16.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Joe. And still love him like crazy!!

I have stayed at home with my kids for 11 years. Four years ago, I started freelance writing for the Commercial Appeal- Bartlett edition. I wrote a bi-weekly column for two years called In the Public Eye. I spotlighted a public service employee of Bartlett, Lakeland or Arlington. I loved writing this column because I would spotlight everyone from the the maintenance man at the BRC to the Fire Chief. Everyone has an important job and I loved being able to let the public know about the great people who work behind the scenes and on the front lines to make these three cities that great places that they are to live and work.
